Why Nurse Manager University was created
After more than 30 years in nursing and hospital leadership, I developed a strong desire to give back to the profession by helping current and future nurse leaders—especially Nurse Managers—succeed in one of the most demanding roles in healthcare. To prepare for this next chapter, I completed two comprehensive leadership coaching certification programs and became a Certified Professional Leadership Coach. My goal was simple: to help new and experienced Nurse Managers navigate the complex challenges of leadership with greater confidence, effectiveness, and resilience.
Solving the unique challenges of nurse leadership
Through more than 750 hours of one-on-one leadership coaching, clear patterns began to emerge. Regardless of experience level, many Nurse Managers faced similar leadership challenges—from building trust and communicating effectively to managing conflict, leading change, improving financial performance, and developing high-performing teams. We address these critical areas, providing targeted solutions that empower you to excel.
